datai fish (or chicken) methi curry

 A delicious and simple curry from Data Ram at the Datai cookery course

*If preferred, substitute 300g chicken thigh meat cut into bite sized pieces.  At the cookery course the fish and chicken were not deep fried but this should enhance the recipe.  To deep fry coat bite sized pieces in gram or plain flour and fry until golden brown.  The garlic-ginger paste is pre-prepared mashed garlic, ginger and onion.
